Congratulations to Shelagh McKail

Well done to Shelagh McKail, Stringsaloud South East's viola player who will now be working for the Scottish Opera orchestra. This now means that Shelagh will perform with both Stringsaloud in Scotland and in the South East of England.

Hello! Update!

It's been a long time since I have updated the Stringsaloud Blog but I have been putting little updates on Facebook for all those Facebookers out there!
Stringsaloud had a fab weekend at  Scotland's Exclusive Wedding Event, Glasgow Concert Hall, 27 & 28th August 2011. We met lots of lovely brides and grooms to be along with mums and dads!
Musical highlights were Lady Gaga's Poker Face with some interesting men standing behind us, see our photos on Facebook...they also sang along and danced! There was lots of Elbow, One Day Like This and Pachebel Canon along with some bursts of It's Raining Men and Barry White's First, My Last, My Everything.
Stringsaloud South East will be exhibiting and performing live at the Marlow Wedding Show, Crowne Plaza Marlow on Sunday 9th October. Looking forward seeing you there!
